Reviews
I am truly a novice in the A I world. I learned a lot from the workbook format of the book. I highlighted several parts of the book, in particular the KEY TAKEAWAYS. I read the assignments but instead of writing I took my business situation and applied that as I reworded the prompts, questions, conversations, etc.
I learned that “it’s a conversation, not a command.”
Oh my!!! This is not a book you skim through in a week. If you’re on a quest, as I am, to discover prompt engineering wizardry, this ongoing, interactive workbook will teach you something new every day for the next six months.
It’s become my go-to for everything I want to know and I’m barely a quarter of the way through. I feel as though my learning is expanding in leaps and bounds. The wealth of knowledge in here is golden! Just brilliant!
I’ve read many AI books, but this one is different! This book is super clear and helpful. The author, Tigran Voskanyan, doesn’t waste time with complicated words – he just shows you exactly what to do.
I love how the book is split into a 4-day challenge. It’s not just another book full of theory – you actually learn by doing! The author knows his stuff and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand.
The best part? You don’t need to be a tech genius to follow along. Everything is explained step by step, and the exercises really help you learn. The book comes with some great extras too, like a free course that helps you learn even more.
I’m doing the challenge right now, and I’m surprised at how much I’ve learned already. If you want to learn how to use AI to make money, but don’t want to get lost in tech talk, this is the perfect book to start with. It’s definitely worth every penny!
The tips about working with AI tools like ChatGPT are really useful, and I’m already using what I learned. Great book for anyone who wants to learn AI the simple way!
“A Beginners Guide, to AI; Master Artificial Intelligence with Hands On Practice, in 4 Days ” this book makes a challenging subject approachable and engaging for those who may find AI daunting or overly technical.
The writer simplifies the basics of AI in a manner thats accessible, to everyone. Even if you’re not a tech expert The emphasis is on abilities with AI prompts, in particular being highlighted as beneficial It’s essentially about giving the AI precise instructions to carry out specific tasks and this guide effectively teaches you how to do just that.
The section, on uses is a goldmine of information that demonstrates the versatility of AI in tasks ranging from generating written content to improving marketing tactics and streamlining business processes. Then it guides you through hands on activities that allow you to experiment with these applications firsthand. A way to solidify your understanding of the material.
If you’re considering how to earn money using your skills mentioned in the book well as different methods to leverage your AI expertise for financial gain such, as freelancing or developing AI based products.
In summary,”AI Guide, for Beginners” presents mastering AI as less intimidating and more achievable. And rewarding too! It’s a read for those in AI and excited to explore this advanced technology world.Whether you aim to enhance your career prospects start a side project or simply wish to experiment with technology this book has something, for everyone.
This book has many highlights. I loved learning so many details and aspects of AI. I am not a deep connoisseur and in some aspects I felt overwhelmed by so much information. But, it is a book that should be returned to, practiced and returned to. There are many resources, simple examples and templates to learn and put into action any idea in AI. Very interesting as a reference for this complex world for those of us who are not professionals in the subject.
“This book was a delightful read for AI prompt engineering warriors. It wasn’t just a book but more like a manual, giving you knowledge, charged instruction and exercises through the workbook sections. Don’t expect to be a passive reader with this one. The book dives into the fundamentals, including getting your “mind” right, as learning/developing new skills involves a mindset. So, surprisingly, this book goes into that, which was something delightfully unique, helpful, and unexpected for a “how to” on the technical side.
I think this book was engaging, interactive, as you do many of the exercises in your chosen AI model. I also thought it helpful that it introduces people to the concept of open versus closed source models (good and the bad) and embraces the idea that open source democratizes the technology, makes it safer due to more scrutiny and is less censored.
As for prompt engineering, whoa. This too was fantastic, as it highlighted the notion that prompting needs to be a detailed but best given in steps, as it allows for less problems or oversight. And working with AI is a collaboration between human and machine. Your prompt engineering needs to a be a collaborative effort—keeping in mind that humans are the drivers to getting the best out of the AI.
Bottom line? This was an unexpectedly intriguing and engaging read and workbook. Over the course of the 4-day challenge, I gained a lot of insight and real world, “done it” knowledge. This book was well written, researched and edited. Well done.”
What I appreciate most about this book is the author’s candid acknowledgment that AI, while powerful, is far from infallible. AI can and does make mistakes, and it’s up to the user to catch those errors. As someone who uses AI extensively for writing, I find this feedback crucial, especially for readers who might become complacent and overly reliant on AI. It’s like a soccer player who sees the ball coming but fails to catch it, simply kicking it away without thinking. Similarly, forwarding AI-generated output without review is risky because, ultimately, the responsibility lies with you—the user. AI is meant to be an assistant, not a replacement for human judgment.
I also appreciated the introduction of tools I hadn’t encountered before, such as MaxAI. In a world where new AI tools emerge daily, the author does an excellent job of curating options that could be genuinely useful. This is invaluable, as choosing the right tool can significantly enhance productivity.
The author also emphasizes the importance of refining and improving your AI processes, which resonated with me. AI is most effective when used in a structured, process-oriented way. It requires constant iteration, breaking tasks down into manageable pieces to get the best results. This approach aligns with my own experience, and the author provides insightful guidance on how to achieve this.
Overall, the book is filled with practical advice and new perspectives on AI. Based on the author’s deep knowledge and the actionable insights shared, I give this book a well-deserved five stars.
I thought I knew how I was going to leverage AI. But I was wrong. My understanding of the scope and depth of AI were limited. This book provided the high level treatment of the subject that I really needed. Now instead of getting stuck on a particular track, I am dabbling in a few to see what works out. Will it be technical writing? Graphic design? Agricultural consulting? Aerospace development? All I know for sure is that it will be awesome. Thank you Tigran for a much needed reset, and the added context!
This book is a game-changer for anyone looking to dive into the world of AI without the usual confusion and fluff. The clear, step-by-step activities guide you from being a complete novice to an AI expert in just 4 days, which is incredible! The practical approach makes it easy to follow and take immediate action, helping you start earning passive income with AI right away.
I especially appreciated the simplicity—no unnecessary jargon, just straightforward guidance. And the bonus offer for early access to Books 2 & 3 is a fantastic deal! Highly recommend if you’re serious about getting started with AI.
While I wouldn’t ordinarily call myself an AI beginner, after reading this book, I realized that I am. I have naturally done some of the suggestions in this book. For example, I’m currently having long conversations with the AI instead of giving it single commands like I started out doing. It helps to understand the technical reasons why this approach works best. The author explains that you’ll get better results when you treat AI as a partner and not just as a tool. I have found this to be true.
This book is interactive. It offers a variety of tools. It has a workbook section for each day. The workbook includes activities. These activities will help you to understand all the concepts fully. I’m looking forward to the next books in the series.
I loved the concept of using AI assistants to build more AI assistants. This may very well be the best book on entry-level prompt engineering that I have read. I found the included prompts extremely useful. I highly recommend this book.
This book was fun to read. It is a deadly serious, seriously fun book. The author is doing people a huge favor by writing his series of books. This was #1. I’ve dabbled in AI and thought I knew something. I knew nothing – nothing at all. Now, I know a little of the jargon, the patois of AI. I know that it will take me quite a while to become literate in AI. This is what the author told me and I have no reason at all to doubt him. I plan to get his next book and the one after that.
It’s not the easiest book to read because he loves to use abbreviations in his writing. You get used to them after a while and thankfully he put a glossary in the back. If you are at all interested in learning AI, this book is a good place to start. You will learn how many AIs there are and how they are different from one another and that more are coming all the time.
To make use of all his information, just clear off your desk, turn off your phone, and dig in. You’ll probably want to have your meals delivered for the next few weeks because you won’t want to take time to cook them. I highly recommend this book.
